First Class Wheel and Tire Protection

Sometimes driving in the NYC-Metro area can be hazardous.   Crater-like potholes, construction debris, hubcaps, mufflers and other assorted spare parts litter our highways.

Even if we arrive at our destination safely, attempting to park brings new challenges.   Bottles and cans, broken glass, nails, raised construction plates and our personal favorite — the jagged-steel curb protectors, which always seem to find itself impaled in a Pirelli.

AMG wheels with low-profile tires are designed for high performance on the German Autobahn, not for the extreme conditions on the Long Island Expressway, Cross Bronx Expressway or Gowanus Expressway.

Replacement of tires and wheels for a Mercedes-Benz can run several thousand dollars depending on the situation.   The cost of a single tire for an AMG vehicle typically costs over $300.   Need to replace the wheel too?  That's another $800-$3,800

Yes, driving in the NYC-Metro area is not only hazardous to your safety but to your wallet as well.

Mercedes-Benz Financial Has You Covered

Next time you pick up your new or preowned Mercedes-Benz remember to ask about Mercedes-Benz Financial's First Class Wheel and Tire Protection Warranty.   The plan protects you from road hazards such as nails, potholes, blowouts, debris and glass.  Tire, wheel replacement and labor are all included.

Prices range from $795 to $1,095 for your term of lease or up to 5 full years, if you purchased your vehicle.

Keep in mind that the First Class Wheel and Tire Protection Warranty is backed by Mercedes-Benz and not an outside company.  You can go to any Mercedes-Benz dealer in the US and have your tires and/or wheels replaced.  No questions asked.  Every dealer uses the same computer system to verify coverage.  You are not limited in any way, like all other smiliar plans.

The only catch — you must purchase this plan at the time of purchase.  It can't be added afterwards.  Those are Mercedes-Benz Financial's rules, not ours.
